MANALAGI TALANOA
As of 1st of January the Manlagi Talanoa is now live!
The Manalagi Project is New Zealand's first Pacific Rainbow+ Health and Wellbeing Project to be funded by the Health Research Council of New Zealand.
A huge fa'afetai tele lava to everyone for partaking in the survey, and for those who have shared their experiences through talanoa. The purpose of our talanoa phase is to supplement the quantitative data of the survey, with the nuance of qualitative data from talanoa.
By sharing your experiences through talanoa, you are helping us to better understand the nuanced picture of wellbeing for our Pacific Rainbow+ / MVPFAFF+ communities in Aotearoa.
Currently, we are looking to talanoa with 60 people. To compensate for your time and energy, you will receive a $100 Preezy card. We can conduct this talanoa either face to face or via Zoom – whichever is your preference.
We have been granted ethics approval by HDEC 2021 EXP 10986

MANALAGI REPOSITORY
The Manalagi Repository is an open-access digital archive of research, scholarship and creative publications that focuses on Pacific Rainbow LGBTQIA+ MVPFAFF+ communities in Aotearoa-New Zealand and the Pacific more broadly understood.
This repository will be updated across the life of the Manalagi Project, where the research team intends to share any resources we may encounter, engage and produce, to encourage more Pacific Rainbow+ research to be conducted and developed in our country.
If you would like any of your own work to be included in the repository please email the Manalagi Project's Research Assistant Raewyn Soakai on raewyn.soakai@auckland.ac.nz
